For the past 15 years, the members of the Black Acre Group have been at the forefront of the grassroots communications industry, bringing a campaign-style approach to more traditional public outreach. Our history is rich and diverse—we have played a role in major social and policy issues, including the healthcare, taxes and energy debates. We have tackled some of the most pressing and complicated community-based challenges for our clients.

Black Acre maintains a comprehensive national field network, made up of regional, state and local specialists who are native to their communities and who possess long track records of proven success in communications and advocacy. These representatives make the community-based outreach model successful, operating strategically as a campaign’s “eyes and ears” and tactically to deliver micro targeted messages to diverse audience segments.

Our field teams have a wide array of contacts, skills and the unique understanding of local political environments needed to identify the most appropriate and effective opinion leaders and groups in each community and mobilize them to advocate on behalf of our clients. Our field programs specialize in generating highly personal forms of grassroots contact, taking care to involve every aspect of the community and to reach every relevant group and/or individual who stands to be impacted by the outcome of a campaign.
